REMOTE CONSULTATIONS

  1. Remote consultations include telephone, video and email consultations between a clinician and the patient. 
  2. In light of the Covid-19 outbreak all consultations at Vital Wellness Clinic will be done remotely until further notice
  3. Before carrying out a remote consultation, the clinician will seek your consent to undertake the consultations remotely.
  4. You will receive a link to join the video consultation by email.
  5. Please be available for your appointment 10 minutes before your appointment. 
  6. Appointments cancelled within 24hrs will not be refunded.
  7. Vital Wellness Clinic is a private clinic which charges a fee for its services. In accepting a consultation with the clinic you agree to pay for that practitioner’s time regardless of the outcome of the consultation. 
  8. Any additional time, investigation or treatment is chargeable at additional cost. 
  9. The fee for a video, phone or email consultation is taken prior to commencement of the consultation.
  10. There are  limitations to remote consultations such as inability to do an examination if required. prescribing. The doctor may advise you that you need to be examined. The fee will be non refundable. 
  11. Prescriptions can be emailed to your chosen pharmacy if they have the facility. 
  12. Vital Wellness Clinic clinicians can only consult with the patient themselves. 
  13. We cannot conduct a consultation about a relative or friend without their permission although we can give general health advice. 
  14. We are currently not able to see those under the age of 18 yers old.
  15. The person must be in the UK at the time of the consultation or normally reside in the UK
  16. We reserve the right to refuse to conduct a video, telephone or email consultation or to terminate a consultation.
  17. Our remote consultations can be booked online and are subject to the doctor’s availability.
  18. This service is not suitable for those who are acutely unwell and we advise those with acute illnesses to contact their GP, 111 service or attend their local A+E department.
  19. We cannot accept responsibility for non receipt of emails, wrong email addresses or unobtainable telephone numbers.
  20. All patient details and records are kept in the strictest of confidence unless you give us permission to share information, for example with your GP. The only exceptions are where a patient is considered to be a danger to themselves or others, or when required to do so by a court order.
  21. Vital Wellness Clinic is not liable for patients’ well-being outside of the clinic’s opening hours and does not provide an out of hours service.
